Moving Rows within a Grid (Sorting Rows)

The program provides four buttons for moving a row within a grid. Use these buttons to manually rearrange, or sort, the rows of the active grid.

The buttons in this group are: Move Row Up One, Move Row Down One, Move Row to Top, and Move Row to Bottom.

Find these buttons on the Field Actions toolbar.

Note: In the case of moving a row in a very large grid it may be easier to use the Cut and Paste row operations.

Examples:

1) To move a row up five rows, click on a field in the row, then press the Move Row Up One button five times.

2) To move a row to the second row from the top, click on a field in the row, then press the Move Row to Top button, then press the Move Row Down One button.
