Using the Program’s Help:

Overview:

The program’s help file is organized as an online manual. Its entire contents can be read from start to finish as if it were a book.

There are also many direct ways to access the help topic for a specific program element.  Each dialog has a Help button that will access its help topic. You can also use the Help Cursor to find help topic associated with any on-screen element like a toolbar button, a field on the tax form, a pane, anything.

When a tax form is active, you will also notice that there is a pane along the bottom of the screen that shows a brief help description for the active field. This is called the Brief Help Pane.

The table of contents is a good place to get aquatinted with the organization of this help manual. All topics in the help file can be accessed from the contents. There are no hidden help topics.
